We are students of ST EDWARDS SS Bukuumi responding to the call "KICK CORRUPTION OUT OF UGANDA". We need a corruption free Uganda.

Who We Are ? We are the members of Integrity Ambassadors Club at St. Edward's SS Bukuumi, a team of dedicated students to promoting honesty, transparency, and accountability in our school and community. located in the western region KAKUMIRO DISTRICT.

Objectives of the mission include:

a. Promote human values like; Fairness, Integrity, and Honesty. Trustworthiness, Respect for Self and others.

b. Provide a platform for students to discuss the concept of corruption and to express their views on anti-corruption strategies.

c. Sensitize the students’ community about the negative impact of corruption.

d. Enlist youth support in the fight against corruption.

e. Create awareness about the value of integrity and good governance among students at St. Edwards SS Bukuumi.

ARTICLE 1

CORRUPTION A DEEP WOUND!

Due to greed for wealth, lack iof partriotism and moral decay. People with power and positions use their public offices for personal gains or group interests which have led to corruption.

Uganda still lies behind in service delivery and development in key sectors like Agriculture, Health and Education due to loss of government revenue and embezzement of government funds.

There is need to impart morals in young generation and sensitise them on the negative effects of corruption to the country and the government should promote good governance and transparency and the people should demand for accountability from their leaders.

With increased corruption, poverty and unemployment coupled with poor sevice delivery the future remains black for many citizens and the coming generation if no action is taken to deliberately end corruptionin Uganda.
